Born in Brooklyn New York June 8, 1933 Joan Alexandra Molinsky who’s stage name Joan Rivers quickly became a household name, her sharp wit and no holds barred one liners ensured Joan a road to stardom.

In 1965 Joan's first TV appearance was on the Tonight Show which paved the way for Joan to host her own The Late Show. 

Joan also a prolific writer wrote 12 best selling books about her life and comedy and also won a Tony Award for best actress for her role in Sally Marr...and her escorts, but Joan will always be remembered for having more put downs than a queens convention in San Fran. so for always saying it as it was Joan we salute you.
