Phoenix Nights

Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights which took over Manchester Arena last month has raised an astonishing £5,031,146.47 for Comic Relief, the most money raised by a live comedy show in the world.

Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights live received rapturous applause from audiences and critics alike over 16 sold out shows selling a massive 196,000 tickets.

Kay and the full original cast of the award winning comedy series gave all their time for free on the project with all the profits from the shows going to Comic Relief.

The stand-alone event is a fantastic boost for the charity and the money raised will make such a difference to thousands of lives.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and supported such a great cause.
