An Interactive Week-Long Fan Experience Featuring a Full Scale Set of

Monica’s Apartment, Exhibition of Original Props & Central Perk Inspired Café

London, Tuesday 15 September 2015: A host of famous faces proved that they’ll be there for Friends as they attended the launch party of the highly anticipated Comedy Central’s FriendsFest this evening.

Stars including Michelle Keegan, Samantha Faiers, Alesha Dixon, Jordan Stephens (Rizzle Kicks), McBusted’s Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher, Ollie Locke, Stacey Solomon, Ashley Roberts and Brian McFadden joined Friends icon James Michael Tyler, who played Gunther in the long running sitcom, as they celebrated 21 years of the greatest sitcom of all time.

Comedy Central’s FriendsFest is a week-long fan experience taking place in London’s Brick Lane between 16-20 September and features a full scale set of Monica’s apartment, an exhibition of original props and a Central Perk inspired cafe.

Guests at the launch were treated to a selection of delicious drinks from our friends at Lidl and those wanting to get ‘a Rachel’ were pampered in Rachel’s Hair Salon in association with Soho Salons.

James Michael Tyler commented, “It’s amazing to think that Friends is still as popular today, as it was 21 years ago when we first started.  Comedy Central’s FriendsFest brings together some of the most iconic sets and props from the show and I’m certain fans will love. I feel extremely nostalgic being back in Monica’s apartment and Central Perk.”

Michelle Keegan added “I am buzzing to see everything at FriendsFest, I love Friends. My friends think I am most like Phoebe, I’m not OCD enough to be Monica!”

Alesha Dixon said “I love anything to do with Friends, I am a super fan if I had to pick a favourite episode it would be the one with the sandwich

Brian McFadden added “It is so surreal to see the apartment having spent my whole life watching Friends, even now! There are so many great episodes it will take me ages to think of a favourite”

Sam Faiers said: “I’m a huge huge fan of friends, I’m so excited to be here!”

Viewers wanting to get into the mood for Comedy Central’s FriendsFest can watch episodes of Friends in chronological order, weekdays from 5pm on Comedy Central.
